Transform your home with aaltspace

aaltspace is a Scottish architectural practice based in Edinburgh founded by the multi-award-winning architect and designer Nick O’Neill and has built projects in Edinburgh, Newcastle and Bristol.

aaltspace specialises in domestic architecture with a focus on adapting, converting and extending existing buildings but also has experience in community projects, academic research and new builds.

Projects frequently involve historic and listed buildings and are often based in Conservation Areas.

aaltspace realises that the most sustainable building is one that already exists. Existing buildings are rich in embodied energy but also full of character and history. Adaptive reuse done in a thoughtful and creative way, will only enrich a home. Given our climate-challenged and resource-poor times, aaltspace is committed to adapting, altering and adding to what is already there to achieve greater levels of sustainability.

aaltspace is committed to good design. Not for its own sake, but because it has a transformative effect on how you live and how you enjoy your home. It enhances the every day and will add moments of pleasure and delight.

aaltspace is a Chartered Practice through the RIAS and RIBA and registered with the ARB.
